i think only local “chairty” events would allow you to play! maybe in some weird country that has no age restricitions on age limits for gambling! thats about it

The WSOP starts on the 30th of May this year and is comprised of many, many different tournaments, culminating in the $ 10,000 Main Event which runs for the first two weeks of July. In the run up there will be aprox 50 events of many different types of poker with buyin’s ranging from $ 1000-$ 50,000. To get a ‘ticket’ all you need is to show up the day of the event and pay your cash (give yourself about an hour to stand in line if you can’t get your ticket the night before).
I have been and played in several events and they are alot of fun. Its like a giant poker convention. I would recommend you check out the ladies event, as its the smallest buyin ($ 1000), the weakest field (lets be honest here), tons of fun, and televised so you have a chance of getting on TV. Im not talking about the circuit events im talking about the actual WORLD SERIES IN VEGAS, THE 33 or however many tournaments of the world series of 2008

I believe it starts June 1st 2008 and will prob. end at the end of July i believe there wil be 60 events next year(55 this year which is already over =(( )

I think so. But I am sure they get some type of apperance fee and a bunch of other perks too. They seem to get really mad when they lose a big pot so I am sure it is their money.

A Professional Poker player who’s among one of the best in the world.
Alot of the TV pros get alot of stick for not being very good among the online poker community.
Antonius is a strong exception, as well as tournament success he plays and succeeds in the nose bleed stakes online (very high stakes were the quality if play is very high) which very few professional players can manage.
