Question by Vinrockk: Is there a website that does not give a crazy amount of bad beats like full tilt and absoluet poker?
I know it seems nuts but I think these sites are rigged. I build a huge bankroll and then lose it all. I do not do much different but I just seem to suffer way more bad beats when I have alot of cash in my account. Can anyone advise of a site that they have had not so many bad beats?

Bad beats aren’t the enemy. I could give you a number of better sites than these although most you couldn’t play at if you’re from the U.S. and they all have more bad beats than these 2 but that’s because the action is looser.
When I play at Absolute, Full Tilt, or Poker Stars I’m always amazed at how FEW bad beats there are at these sites. Not enough of them for sure. For every hand a donk sucks out on you with, there’s 2 that he or she loses to you with. No one remembers the winners because they feel entitled to win all these hands and when they don’t they feel cheated. Then they blame this for their losing when they really need to look elsewhere.
If you say your bankroll grows then it tends to go away then this is suggestive of the fact you’re more of a break even player and your roll is going up and down with the normal flow of luck.
However my telling you all this probably won’t help much. Here’s what I tell people that are hung up over this stuff. Pick the tightest tables you can, and that’s not really that hard. You don’t have to leave these sites for sure and in fact Full Tilt and Stars are the best places to find these. Shoot for flop percentages as low as you can get them for your level. Ideally you’re going to be playing at tables with no donks at all and there’ll be little opportunity for bad beats since they are all pretty much playing good hands and good draws. You won’t make any money here and perhaps after some pain at these tables you will come to realize that you did a lot better at the looser tables and perhaps it’s a matter of you finding sites which are even looser, have more donks at the table with more bad beats, and are easier to make a profit at.
Whenever I run into a bad beat I am very thankful and it’s being thankful for dumb@sses like this being around and I know I’ll win a lot more from these chumps than they will win from me. This attutude isn’t optional if you ever plan to exorcise the conspiracy theory demons that are haunting you.

Question by Jeanine:D: Is this story good or bad? is it interesting or not?
As a scientist was putting away her equipment there was a girl laying on a bed she looked examined she had wires on her hands, feet, and head. The scientist was working on this new experiment. Her daughter passed away 1 week ago she got in a car accident with her friends, she didn’t make it her friends survived. But then the scientist wanted to take her to the lab and tried to revive her again. It took a while but she started to breathe all of the sudden her heart wasn’t beating like a normal human it was a weird sound but the scientist knew she was alive somehow but she didn’t opened her eyes yet. The scientist locked her in a room sealed it shut and she headed home. As days go by it’s a Saturday morning a bright shiny day in Lunt’s Valley I got dressed shower, brushing teeth everything as usual I always looked at the picture of my best friend Lucy she passed away in a horrible accident it was just a stupid idea of drinking and driving I knew it was a bad idea but Lucy was more drunk my other friend Luke was worst I was the one less drunk but as I was driving I was feeling dizzy and everything was getting blurry all of the sudden we crashed into a truck and we rolled down the hill it was horrible when I woke up I was in bed with a bruises all over my feet and hands, Luke fractured his arm but…Lucy is dead she had scars all over her face her face was bleeding so bad she was injured the most because she literally fell of the car. I was shocked so was Luke but her family was worst her mom loved her daughter so much and she would do anything for her. Her dad passed away 2 years ago when Lucy was 14 it was devastating for her she would be depressed all the time but then drinking was her only solution… her mom went straight to her lab. Her lab was in a dark alley as she smiled to her daughter “good morning sweetheart.” She didn’t respond back she was drooling blood her eyes were red. She didn’t look the same she still had scars on her face. But she still loved her daughter. She went inside the room she didn’t lock the door like usual she let her out she was wearing the same clothes she was wearing when she got in a car accident. Lucy looked around the room…she looked at her mom she went running to her mom and Lucy was going crazy she was biting her mom eating her up and screaming “Lucy what are you doing ahhhhhhh!”
Is this good is there any changes i should make?
P.S if you read the summary that i posted an hour ago i did a few changes is this better?

I play at Harrahs, and there is plenty of action there. At your levels the games will not be espcially loose, but there will be a few fish at the tables. Watch the play for a while before you sit in, you’ll spot them.
The Total Rewards Program is great, be sure to call the casino first and hook up with a poker host, if you are going to play at that level.

Question by dunhate235: Something that i dont understand from high stakes poker?
Okay in the hand where david benyamine is up against some rich dude i dont understand why he didnt just call the flop. He had a flush draw and it was obvios his oppenent had at least two pair+, maybe a combo draw and had little fold equity. It looked like he was getting 2-1. Was it because he (benyamine) would 4-bet all strong hands on that flop and only call with a flush draw therefore giving himself no implied odds because his hand was transparent?
Another thing i didnt understand was why the announcer said that if the rich dude had reraised (3-bet) to 100k it would have been an easy call, but when it was raised to 125k, it was a harder decision.
The link is here. Its not the first hand. (i think its the second or third hand in.)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fQY3runTGao&feature=related
The hand that im talking about starts at about 4:50.
@Pokercoach-”David can’t throw his hand away, but in the same time he can’t just call. ”
Could you explain why david cant just call?
@Sabes- does benyamine really believe he has fold equity in that spot? The rich dude seems to have been making some loose calls and im sure the table has noticed. Plus, he always has something better than a pair in that spot. Your oppenent who cant laydown hands plus the fact that he probaly has a strong hand is not a spot where you want to bluff right?
@Sabes- well, david knows that guy knows that david is supposed to have a big hand here follow that?
I sorta follow that, but not sure w/e Guy really thinks about this kinda stuff.
@Pokercoach
“And even for us knowing that Guy has 2 pairs…I mean, it’s the nut flush, with a lot of money in the pot and in front of the players.”
Ummm yea its the nut flush and the nut flush probaly has 30% equity against combo draws, sets, and 2 pair. He is getting an okay price. When he pushes allin i higly doubt he has the fold equity to make this a profitable move.
Im still not comprehending why you dont just want to call.
Yes he gets to see two cards, but he is putting his whole stack in which is like more 200bb. When all that money goes in you are never ahead. Add that with little fold equity and how is this a good move???
Or do you think benyamine has lots of fold equity when he pushes?

What is not shown in the youtube video, is that up until this point, Leliberte has been completely running over this game.
If you notice, after his raise was reraised, Benyamine stood to get a better look at Leliberte’s chip stack. When he realized how much money his opponent had backing his hand, he has to reconsider continuing with his. What he is thinking, at this point, is how big the bet on the turn is going to be if the club doesn’t come. If he doesn’t make his flush, the size of the pot would certainly warrant a big enough bet to put him all in. Most professional players try to avoid going all in, or “pot committing” themselves on a draw: especially in cash games.
