Anyone have some incite to whether it would be plausible to even open a poker room in gainesville? are there city restrictions that would not allow a poker room to be opened in a particular city? where could i find that information? Anyone know anything about how much it would cost to get a gambling license? lawyers? Any information would be nice, or just some incite on what you may think if u are familiar with the area

Have you ever thought you had a sure winner only to lose on the final play or you had 4-3′s in poker and somebody had 4-7′s or the team you bet on is up by 4 in the last inning and the other team scores 5 runs to win. What was your reaction did you break anything, how much money did you lose when you thought you had won it?

playing poker i had K-J of hearts, all-in before the flop, against 6h-6d
the flop was 9-5-2 all hearts
the turn was the 8h…i said “he’s drawing dead”, and then realizing he had a win in the deck said “wait, he can catch the 7 of hearts”
river…7 of hearts

I was considering attending this years WSOP and was wondering what are the proper procedures.
Is the buy in still $ 10k??? I had a dream that I was playing the final table, it felt real, I am gonna buy in and I am gonna take that braclet.

i don’t know much about spectator procedures, other than you have to follow the ground rules set by the rio, i.e. no flash photography in the tournament room

you just play alot more tightly in a tournament –
YES you cant be afraid to fold – you really dont go all in especially early rounds- unless you have the NUTS , or arent afraid of busting out.
You have to pick your spots obviously and know pot odds and value for your money based on calling………
position is very important – alot of people just like to play on the button in tournaments and raise if there is none and hope to steal the blinds and slowly try to build up their stacks that way, its not as important a strategy if your playing in a normal game, although many people still use it all the same:)
