You can bet that any that allow smoking do not publish that fact but those that do not will. That would be a good guide to go from.

Question by stpayne48329: poker – bad call or good call?
Okay, so i was playing in this tournament last weekend. i was playing pretty good, not as good as my usual game, but enough to stay within a couple hundred in chips of the chip leader. I pre-flop raised with AK suited and this guy just calls, so it’s me and him in the hand only. he had me beat in chips slightly, i had 15,000 he had 15,300. the flop comes A-9-10 offsuits. He is first to act and way overbets the pot, i think he bet around 9,000. i knew there is no way he had me beat for he had been calling pre-flop raises with rags the whole time i was at this table with him. Also, if he had A-10 or A-9 he wouldn’t overbet the pot so much for it would more then likely scare me away and he wouldn’t want that. So i move all-in and he sits there and says “This is a stupid call. i know you have me beat…I call”. he flips over Q-10. the turn is a J. and the River is a Queen. Now, im no pro, but im pretty sure this is the stupidest call he could make here. am i right? Does anyone know the %?
well, i personally dont believe in pot committment. Think of it this way: if you bought a baseball card that was worth $ 2,000. and then find out 3 years later that the card has greatly declined in value and is only worth $ 150, would you still try to sell it for the original $ 2000 you invested in it? no, because no one would pay that price. The money you put into the pot is no longer yours. its just as much the other person’s as it is yours, so why put all your chips in just because you put half your chips in already even when you honestly think you’re beat?

Question by AJ B: Any Poker for 18 Year Olds in New Mexico?
Does anyone know of any casinos near the Albuquerque area that will let 18 year olds play poker? I’m not really interested in slots or other table games; just poker. I know Cities of Gold (about 1.5 hours from ABQ) has a poker room for 18 year olds, but is there anything closer to the city?

Question by Bigsky_52: Is it better to gamble at your best game or be disciplined at a weaker game?
I am trying to build up a bankroll from nothing like Chris Ferguson just did at Full Tilt ($ 10,000 starting with 0). I opened a new account at Poker Stars, entered a freeroll, and won a dollar. I then entered a $ 0.02/0.04 ring game and built my bankroll to a whopping $ 1.20. Now I have enough to enter a tournament, a s’n'g, or the micro ring games. I play medium stakes single table s’n'gs on FT for my poker income, and I usually cash about 2/3 of the time. That’s my strongest game. The only problem is that if I enter one on PS it’ll be for my entire bankroll. I could enter tournaments for as little as a dime, but the likelihood of cashing goes down and I’m moderately weaker at multi table tournaments. Then you have limit ring games, which you can play for pennies, but they’re my weakest game. Obviously the most disciplined maneuver would be to grind the ring games until the sng wasn’t such a huge % of my bankroll. But it’s less certain that I’ll win. Any thoughts or opinions?
